Ultrasound Update and Peace with Family and God

Jesus replied, "What is impossible with men is possible with God." Luke 18:27

The person who trusts in the name of the Lord has peace.

I was tired when I woke up this morning. I didn't get too much sleep as I had the monitor on a couple times throughout my sleep. This morning I had it on for an hr longer due to Asher's heart rate dipping a little for short periods 3 times in an hour.. even though scary, I trusted God. He bounced right back up and did well.

After eating breakfast, I then had my ultrasound. Asher is still breech and has the cord loosely around his little neck. However, he still is moving good and I measured around 4.6 cm of fluid which is a true gift as it has stayed pretty consistent. I know God and Josh are watching over Asher and me.

Dr. Fitzpatrick then came in and told me Asher was still doing well and that we would continue doing 4 monitoring sessions a day with cord being around his neck and just closely monitor. He also said my white blood count was back down to 7.6, which is another beautiful blessing from God!

After he left, I ate lunch and my mom and Easton came. I was so excited to see them! Easton gave me a hug and showed me the hotwheel and outfit Mamaw and Papaw Beckman got him. He then brought daddy's Fathers Day Gift to me all wrapped up. I had planned to have Easton paint a rock, since he loves collecting rocks, and then write "Daddy You Rock!" on it. Since I wasn't able to guide Easton in doing that, my mom is amazing and helped Easton complete the project. Since she had put blue paint on a plate for him to use to paint the rock with, Easton decided to paint the plate blue too. Mom then used her creative mind, and had Easton put his handprints on the blue paper plate and make it into a fan. It turned out adorable! Anyways he wanted me to open it, but I told him he had to wait for daddy. Thank you Mom for doing this for me! It means so much!!

Another special moment was when Easton went over to the table and grabbed one of Asher's ultrasound pics. He said, "Look, baby!" He brought the pic to Mamaw and said "Asher!" He says his name so cute! He will be such a great big brother!

As we waited for daddy, I couldn't keep my eyes open. The lack of sleep caught up with me, so I tried to nap a little while my mom and Easton played cars. It was so cute though because everytime I would close my eyes, Easton would run up to me and wake me up and laugh. It melted my heart. I love his laughter!

Before we knew it, daddy had arrived. Easton was so excited! He ran to get the wrapped Father's Day Gift and then ran into daddy's arms with it. Easton then had daddy sit in the recliner with him and open it. It may not be Father's Day, but daddy just had to open it because Easton just couldn't wait! The room filled with laughter when Easton handed him the gift in the recliner, and before daddy could open it, Easton shouted, " It's a rock, I painted it daddy!!" It is just one of those moments that we will always treasure. 😊 Daddy loved his card, rock, and fan! (And Easton loves the rock and thinks it is for him lol).

I look forward to the night as Easton, James, and I get to have family time and another sleepover. How blessed I am to have them here with me to bring me laughter, smiles, joy, and love.

This week Easton will get to spend some time with buddies again. Tomorrow, Carrie, the first grade teacher I work with, has generously offered to watch Easton. This will be his first time at Carrie's house and first time meeting her son Colton, who will be in kindergarten this coming year. I know Easton will have a blast, and I bet Colton will teach him some things... like his letters and numbers.😊 The next day, he will have time with his buddy Mav. He has missed Mav as he hasn't seen him for a week, so I know he will be eager to have play time with Mav. Then he will head to his babysitter's house and have fun with his buddy Josiah! I want to thank Carrie, Ali, and Kristina for your continuous thoughtfulness and kindness. You are helping Easton enjoy his summer and be happy during this bumpy time. Know you are blessings to us!

We are so grateful and blessed to have all of you praying and thinking of us! Each day is a blessing, and it is through your continuos prayers and God's miraculous works, that Asher keeps growing stronger and stronger. Let us continue to unite with God, Josh, and all the Angels and Saints in Asher's fight!

God thank you for another day for Asher to fight. Through You, we have come a long way and continue to be blessed. Asher is a miracle to us and such a strong fighter! Thank you for guiding us to the name Asher as it fits him well, because he is happy and so blessed! Continue to hold his little hand along with ours through this amazing fight! You do wonders and shine Your everlasting love on us each day. Nothing is impossible with You! We love You above all things and continue to sing You praise!
